Often students inquire when I began sewing... well this picture that my brother transferred from long buried family slides finally answers that compelling question. Apparently I began sewing EXTREMELY young :) This photo is probably from 1963-1965Note the keen concentration and ambitious project. Or else I'm sewing on something I wasn't suppose to and was trying to sew quick before I got caught.
Option two is much more likely to be correct!
